Overall I like the look on the truck, they fill the groves on the fender Nicely as it seemed like it belonged there.

install was a pain in the butt, it required additional set of hands to apply pressure to get the holes to line up. Ive heard someone drilled bigger holes but this wasn’t needed. Additionally the plastic clips were even harder to press in with the flare on top. Needless to say it was worth it since there’s no drilling into the fender.

here are some pictures *disclaimer I actually don’t have FX4 (it’s a hybrid).

I've also installed the Bushwacker flares. I agree that they look like they really belong there and that when I see other Mavericks on the road without them I think the truck looks naked. My install did require that I drill out the holes on the flare to accept the clips, but the rest was exactly as the directions said. I have the Shadow Black and this blends in and complements the other matte finishes just fine. Pics to follow once the sun comes back out.

How did you remove the clips?
Are the clips all that is holding it on or are there screws under those clips?

All plastic clips, there’s a metal brace but it’s held in with plastic clips. The metal brace then holds a single screw for the flares.
Just used a plastic pry tool or door trim removal tool.

Do you have any pics of the before and after?

I bought the Bushwacker fender flares and I'm installing them. I've got two ~6" long parts with a clip in the middle. No instructions - I'm not sure if these are for the front or back in addition to not knowing which side is which (they are different) and where the heck they go. Any advice would be appreciated!

OK, I answered my own question (by calling Bushwacker tech support). The brackets go on the front. Attached is the installation pdf for front (20139-02_r0) and rear (20142-02_r0).
Thanks for posting this.
