Anyone figure out a good way to install a push button start on the XLT yet? That's the only thing I'm missing from not getting lariat.

Unless Ford came up with a factory push button start kit everything else would be somewhat experimental especially given the Maverick is so new. Certainly any modification would affect warranty on some things like maybe - someone put a aftermarket push button system from China on on their truck and while driving down the interstate the steering wheel locked up causing the vehicle to swerve and flip over 6 times killing the occupants and causing a pile up - something like that - Ford wouldn't cover something like that and deny any warranty claims on affected systems ........Thanks...I appreciate the suggestion. I'll look at it but I'm not savvy to doing experimental installs. I'm hoping to find a proven method with instructions or have someone else install it with a warranty. I definitely don't want to eff up any Ford warranty either!
Now that's crazy... They should definitely cover that!Unless Ford came up with a factory push button start kit everything else would be somewhat experimental especially given the Maverick is so new. Truthfully Im a locksmith and personally Ive NEVER seen an aftermarket pushbutton start installed on any car or truck. Ive seen a ton of remote starts but no push buttons. I would love to see what it would take to install a factory push button and additionally why the #R@#% doesnt Ford offer it for additional money on the XLT ??????Now that's crazy... They should definitely cover that!
No I get that everything's experimental, but my post is aiming for someone that already has experimented and it's worked, therefore is a standard install in say the last year. If it's too new that nobody has any kind of standard install for this, then I just will wait.
