Install bed rails

Received my 2024 hybrid Maverick. Ordered the 3 piece bed cover and drop in liner from the factory. Wanted to install the bed rails myself. All the holes to attach the rails are covered. I called Ford and 2 Ford dealers. They said I had remove everything to have access. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am not sure what you mean by bed rails. I ordered aftermarket rails that hold adjustable pad eyes and fit into the grooves near the top of the transoms. These were specifically fit for the Maverick, BUT THE DAMN HOLES DIDN'T MATCH UP. I had to drill new holes in the transoms and pop-rivet the rails on. They are rock solid, and serve their purpose, but it was a PITA after expecting them to fit the Maverick. ALWAYS GO EASY WHEN DRILLING; YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT BE ON THE OTHER SIDE. (A la the dumb asses drilling into 5,000 gas tanks installing the spray-in bed liner.)

My dealer told me that the bed liner would coverup the holes for installing the adjustable tie down rails so I went with the rails but not the liner.

Take the drop in liners out. On the back sides of them, you'll see registration marks for where to drill SOME but not all of the holes for access to the points you need, including the 12v access panels. If you want to access all the holes where you'd mount rails, or eyebolts, you'll need to do some measuring.
