Can the background image on the screen be changed with a personal photo? I see videos of people doing this on other Ford vehicles. But I don't know about the mav.

It seems the F-150 allows you to upload photos to it. Anyone have any ideas if this can be done with our trucks?

Lariat only due to Sync 3 requirement. Don't think the lower trims offer it.

Would also be good to be able to customize the split screen with the NAV and maybe have music or something other than only news and podcast options on the other side. Ideas?

You can absolutely change one side to any of your music apps (amazon, pandora etc)

How is this done? I am using the USB drive for my music, not a phone app, but still interested in knowing how to do this.

Unless I'm not understanding what you're looking for, I plug in my phone which (eventually) pulls up the map and stuff. Then you click the lower left hand corner of the screen and it brings up all your apps from you phone that are compatible with android auto. If you have pandora, amazon music, etc on your phone those apps will come up on the screen. Click the one you want and it will be next to the map.

I think it depends on what is listed in the android auto launcher. Music from USB drive isn't one of the choices. I don't have pandora, amazon music, etc on my phone so that's why I can't select music. But thanks for your response.
