Traded my '23 XLT FX4 for a '24 Lariat Tremor. Got a great deal. Really liked the XLT but missed all the conveniences of the Lariat. Liked the Tremor since the unveiling and after taking it out for a test drive I really liked it. The handling and ride quality is so much better with the upgraded suspension, it also quieter but I'm assuming that's down to the Lariat. Really happy so far but will miss the CO of the XLT and I'll miss the cloth seats.

That's so funny because I've said that several times walking out to a parking lot. CO was so easy to find.

I've had a few 10-15 minute test rides in an XL, XLT FX4 and a Tremor. The Tremor felt a little more compliant but it wasn't night and day different.
Granted these test drives were spread over 2 months and on different roads so take it with a grain of salt but the XL and FX4 ride decently.

I went directly from a XLT FX4 to the Lariat Tremor and I'm not saying the FX4 wasn't decent because it was but the ride on the Tremor is just better, night and day certainly not but better. As someone else pointed out the Tremor feels more like a truck which I think is pretty accurate. To sum it up I'd say it's just more fun but I guess it's all a matter of what you are looking for.

Congrats! You're going to really love the Tremor. The ride and overall feel of the Tremor is what totally sold me on it.

I had only previously driven an XL EcoBoost AWD and the ride to me was a pretty stark difference but that could also have been attributed to the leather wrapped wheel, power seat, and overall feel of the Tremor interior.

Just absolutely love my Tremor.

I wonder if the FX4 suspension is harder or softer than the stock XL suspension
