I'm needing some help.
I ordered my Maverick back in Sept. of 2022. Since then the dealership is no longer a ford dealership. I think they're selling only used cars.

My question is, am i S.O.L.? Do I have to go through the order process with a different dealership and have to be put on the list for a 2024 or can a different dealership take over my order. I've called 2 other dealerships to see if they can receive the truck for me. I have not heard from them yet. It's been over a month. I've called but no answer to my question.

I saw the truck on the Maverick truck club sight (with mistakes like order date and state).

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Tim will give you the process, but I am quite sure you do not have to start over as long as the order was placed properly. Do you have the sheet from the dealer with your original order number? Everything I have seen here is that when a dealer goes out of business Ford transfers it to another dealer in the area, but again, Tim will give you the steps to take. Good luck.

If you have you order number you should chat or call Ford directly. I would also physically go to another dealer and ask for the sales manager. Explain the issue and ask what happens to the order and request they look into it and transfer it if possible. If the other dealer did go out of business you won't be the only person stranded so they might be familiar with the situation.

Calling or emailing a dealership is almost always a complete waste of time. Go there personally. Be prepared to spend a half day until someone can answer your questions. In my experience dealers are busy, understaffed and focused on selling not solving someone's problem. But if you get to the right person I have always gotten the answer I needed.
