Ignition Turn Over issue

Anyone else have any issues with starting their truck at all? It’s not all the time but it’s happened 3-4 times now. Sometimes the truck starts quietly. Most of the time it’s a regular start. But today and 2 days ago when turning it over, when I stopped, it kept trying to turn over for a second or two and then eventually started. Very delayed. I chalked it up to being a new vehicle.

Maybe you let go too soon? These new Fords have the ability where you "flick" the key into the start position and let go, it will crank until it starts. It's actually how I start mine

On newer vehicles you don't have to hold the key to start it. Once you hit the start position, the computer takes over and starts the vehicle. Unlike the old style where you had to hold the key in the start position to start it.

I've experienced the same thing, appears very random. My concern is the start stop and having to wait for it to start in traffic.
