The OP doesn't have the push button. So I still don't understand how he removed the key in the ACC position. I also know form my Lariat that I can put it in acc. as you said but the radio etc turns off when you open the door. Then the timeout clicking begins soon after.
Reply was for Monark who has Lariat - therefore keyless entry fob like you.

Also, OP responded to you that he turned it off actually, didn't remove key in ACC.

Just have a key.i just turned the switch back to off position and pulled it out.

Yet he said it was in ACC. Literally the title of the post. I still do not understand how it was left in ACC and he removed the key. I never had a keyed ignition you could do that. He did respond that he "turned it off and removed the key." So then it was not in ACC all night. I don't have a MAverick that uses a key so I am asking these questions.
1. Can the key be removed while in ACC?
2. Does the ACC stay active after the door is open? The Lariat shuts off the radio, screen etc when the drivers door opens. I would think the same software is in all trim levels.
Key was left in ACC all night.
Next morning discovered, turned off, removed key.
May have tried turning to On - but the truck's system had already auto-disabled that - so Key Off at minimum was probably required, maybe removed is needed too.

Can't remove key in ACC position.

Radio does run, and lights a tad longer IIRC, with key in ACC position, despite opening door, and after closing door.
Wondering if that's the same 75 min max timeout, or if it gives up earlier figuring that was accidental.
I'd assume if any battery saver was already enabled for us hybrid drivers, it would go off even sooner.

Based on Op post #3 he turned to Off position and then removed the key

At some point but you and I have to infer when he removed the key.
🤷‍♂️ at this point i guess it doesn't matter, the OP got his only question answered (it timed out) to save the battery

Which is in the manual. My lariat turns radio, screen etc. off when door is opened. I would have thought Ford would do that across the board. I guess not.
If my 24 XLT is key on Acc after I turned it from On, or turned it to ACC on getting in, and I open door - lights on, radio on, and they remain on after closing door.
Well, lights longer than normal, and just as they auto-turn off, radio would eventually I'm sure.

When key Off but left inserted, or removed - everything off when door opens except lights for a short bit, and power port actually, depending on battery V up to 75 min.

How do you go to to Acc mode in Lariat from having driven it when you stop, like Start button with no foot on brake, just like putting it into ACC mode when getting in?
Or actually no way, have to turn off, and then start again?
