After leaving Target I was walking out to my Maverick just to discover another one parked across from me. It was an Oxford White Lariat with the FX4 package. 2.0L Ecoboost AWD. Bone stock with no mods. Of course I had to purposely park next to it for the photo op. I wanted to talk to the owner so I sat and waited a little while to no avail. Oh well. I only bring this up because finding another Maverick on the road is like finding a unicorn. We are a very hard-to-find breed so anytime when I see another one, I can't help but get excited. Which one do you like better?

Mine doesn't arrive till later this month. But I'm smiling because somebody who lives across the street has a Maverick. I'm looking forward to their shock when they see mine pulling out of the driveway for the first time.

I saw 2 others parked at Costco on Saturday. That seems to be the best place to spot one! Both Area 51 hybrids.

5:30 AM - On my way to Costco for fuel. I come up next to a grey Maverick at the light. I wave, but his windows are darkly tinted so I can't tell if he/she responded. If you're on this street at this time in the morning, you're probably going to Costco, so after we got the light I pulled in behind him and yep, a Costco gas buyer. Pulled in behind him and we had a great chat. Fortunately, not many gas buyers at that time otherwise I'm sure we would have been booed off.
