I should probably stop drinking, lose weight, and go to a Gym, but that's not what I want to talk about.

My 12V battery is (and has never been) fully functional, but the only way it bothers me is that the overhead interior lights don't come on when I open the door to get in. The Mav. always starts and has been a more or less perfect truck for the two years I've owned it. It's dark when I get in but I know where the Start button is, and I'm kind of lazy so I haven't bothered to tell the dealer about it yet. Sooner or later I'll buy an AGM battery but it will probably be after the Mav. is out of warranty.

There's supposedly a sw update from Ford to address this issue, coming in Q1 2025.

In the meantime, use a battery tender occasionally to keep the 12v battery at a higher charge. Or don't, and deal with no dome lights and eventually, premature failure of your 12 battery.

Greatly reduced my notifications from multiple times a day to maybe 1 or 2 times per week. It's not a complete fix but it'll do until Ford gets us a fix next year.
