white is the absence of all color. if you put any color into white you can never truly get white back. black is the presence of all color no matter what you do to it you can make it black again

You might consider selling Ice Cream Sandwiches !...to all of you who mistakenly picked or were conned into buying any color Maverick truck other than white, especially all of you with Area 51.
My deepest apologies... I feel your pain.

Read the last line of the post you responded to. My statement is about paint, not light!!you beat me to it... I was going to correct CG as well. that white is indeed a color... it is the presence and reflectance of ALL the colors. Black is the absence of “color”
A white truck is the most basic and boring truck there is and should only be used for work trucks. You must be fun at parties....to all of you who mistakenly picked or were conned into buying any color Maverick truck other than white, especially all of you with Area 51.

My apologies, I was lacking my reading glasses and coffee this morning as I speed read through the post. You're right in regards to pigment (paint). Though there are variations/shades of white which would contain other added pigmented ingredients. So... PURE white paint would be the absence of material color. I guess i approached this under the fact of the reflective & absorption properties of all materials and pigments on certain wavelengths. which has to do with light waves. No ill intention and thank you for the correction.Read the last line of the post you responded to. My statement is about paint, not light!!
It actually is orange. A bit on the lighter side, but orange. If only the cyber orange was orange.
Still waiting for my Alto Blue..and waiting and waitingI think the best colour is Alto Blue. And I ordered Carbonized Grey.
I'm surprised Area 51 is the most popular colour. It does look good but I wonder how it being used to market the Maverick helped.
I was thinking of doing the same thing with the same rims, with a CG Mav the GM at the dealership said he would throw in bronco sport wheels with my purchase, but I wound up getting these wheels instead it just got delivered 2 days agoFor those who asked, these wheels came off a Bronco Sport Base model. I had them powdercoated and changed to Maverick centercaps. I paid $200 for the set last July a few days after I ordered the Maverick. The tires are fine on the road and are not very noisey. They are great in snow. I paid $107 each from Walmart last October and I even put one on the spare. Walmart has raised the price of these tires significantly since then.
