Where did you find the information that it was waiting on parts?
I called the Ford chat yesterday and was told it was in the body shop with no ETA yet. This morning I checked the tracker and modules were alive and it showed awaiting shipment. It went into production on 8/10 then right back out for several days. Then when it went back into production the window sticker changed to 4-rebill and invoice or blend date changed to 8/18. Tracker showed this morning that it was actually built yesterday. I'm not sure why it was delayed a week once it finally went into production. Ford never told me why.

My order date was 12/1/2021 and was just built yesterday awaiting shipping. Are there later orders being built/delivered?We're in the same boat lol. August 14th order, got my VIN from the chat yesterday. I think we got some of the last of the 22s.
Don't hold your breath on that Vin number,ordered mine in July of 21 just got another message from Ford that there are more delays on my vehicle. Lol was told on Saturday my vehicle was supposedly built. Needless to say have since canceled my order.
How about a July of 21 order that was supposedly built last week just got message today not to expect delivery before mid Oct. By the way I did cancel my order

Not trying to sound deliberately obtuse, but what is ford chat? How do I get there?
Well I suck too at technology or I would screen shot it to you. Maybe a young pup on here will do that but if you go to ford.com and go to right hand side. Hit support and service and drop down menu appears. Go to contact ford and you will see CHAT. Hit the start chatting button and you may wait a while but you will get a Ford Rep to talk to you.
Why would you cancel your order and give up a few K in equity?
On principle alone I can't support a company that passes over the little guy for bigger fish. If this is how I'm treated before the purchase what would make me think they will keep their word afterwards.
How about a July of 21 order that was supposedly in production last week. Don't trust what ford tells people, just what you want to hear not really what is going on.
I definitely understand principle, but if you think it through, buying the truck would have been the best way to express your dissatisfaction and punish bad behavior. Whether you buy it or not, you're not keeping it, so that doesn't change.
Despite what I just said, good on you for sticking to your principles. Too many people don't these days.
