Serious concerns!
Three days in the shop getting the recall updates has left me with a vehicle that sounds various alarms every 30 seconds!
Service Department says Ford "doesn't know why" - is going back in after the weekend. Breaks are more grabby than before. Scheduled cross country trip end of month has me concerned about its safety.... anyone else have issues with the recalls and software updates??

The updates were, air bag, fire prevention, tail light, and....? Forget the fourth. The first two were my highest concern. Updates to the software somehow corrupted the computer warning system causing several warnings to ding and flash. Truck actually preforms similarly, a bit more break grabby than before. But of course can't ignore the constant tonal warnings! It's going back to dealer Monday.

Can only imagine all the other people that aren’t on this forum with hybrids going dead after the software update.

I'm not having any alarms go off. But after getting a couple software updates on Monday, The brakes seemed to be a bit more grabby at low speeds on my Hybrid yesterday. I thought it was due to the damp weather, but really not sure. I've also seen a couple of warnings in the instrument cluster come and go away so fast, I didn't even have time to see what they were.

Vehicle updates often muck with other things not "shown on the tin." It did fix the infotainment random brightness issue. But it also added yet-another-stupid-nag-box-warning about seatbelt status.

I am dragging my feet about letting Ford do any of the available recalls. My interior lights do not work consistently in the morning. Doors sometimes don’t unlock automatically. Light in bed doesn’t work all the time and other weird one time electrical failures including going completely dead in traffic. I am reluctant to bring the truck to the dealership to do the available recalls since they don’t address the marginal charging system in my heavily optioned hybrid lariat.

Me too I just want to find a good dealership first, and haven't looked into it yet. I am getting the low power condition too, I'm trickle charging the 12v now to top it off. Never had anything beyond the annoying interior lights not coming on, but I also rarely if ever hear the engine kick on to charge the HV battery when parked like the Prius used to consistently do. The most annoying things about the interior lights is you can manually turn them on for only a few seconds, then they go out for good, and you can't even turn them off since the ECU turned them off, so next time you get back in and they are on from last time and then you can manually turn them back off. Just the dumbest engineering/design decision when LEDs are supposed to use much less power than old incandescents did. I mean at least limit it to one dome light, sheesh Ford.

I had the recall done on my '23. It drives exactly like it did before.
(an emissions thing and the tail lamps)

Had all 4 software updates at my local ford dealer on 03/05/2024 it took 2.5 hours to complete, 2022 xlt hybrid truck runs awesome just like it did before the updates.
No issues…..
