priority 19. Whats the chance of getting it?
I saw they are short on batteries

See if the dealer can put you at priority 10. That is lowest they can go. That’s like pick me next to the regional manager for selection. Otherwise you’re in back of the line at your dealership before region even thinks about it.

Curious where you heard they were short on batteries? I'm sure they are, just curious about the source.

As to getting it? Lots of factors.
- Does your dealer have an allocation available?
- Does your priority allow your truck to be selected for that allocation? (19 is dead last, 10 is first place)
- If the above are satisfied then it should go by the date of your order if there are multiple similar orders at your dealer. So how many orders does your dealer have? If you are priority 10 and your dealer has only 5 orders with 10 allocations, then you have a good chance.
- Does your build have any restrictions? Hybrid alone seems to be a restriction.

Odds of you getting picked? No one can honestly say, there are too many variables. I have heard rumors that only 50% of ordered hybrids will be built. I am not sure I believe that but who knows.

19 is completely meaningless in and of itself..
We would have to know:
How many rollovers your dealer has...and are they giving them higher priorites

How many new 23 orders your dealer has (% that are hybrid might be interesting too.)

Your dealer's allocations

How your dealer is handling priority codes...are they giving better codes (lower the better 10-19). Did they take "reservations" from others prior to the opening of the order books and those people are getting sub <19 priority numbers....or are they just giving everyone that put in new 23 orders the same priority?

Priority codes are only relevant to other orders at that same dealer.

Dealer priorities are 10 to 19 and your place there has meaning only for your dealer. If your dealer has two IDENTICAL orders one at priority 10 and one at 19 the 10 will get looked at first. Otherwise, its not a huge deal. Still, if I were you I would take my dealer a coffee and doughnuts and see if they can make you a 10. It certainly cannot hurt.

I'm not big hurry just hope to get a hybrid?

Not sure hurry matters here with rumors that 50% of hybrid orders will not get built. Not sure I believe that but still it is worrisome.

Best thing you can do (IMHO) is become good friends with your dealer. Visit and bring doughnuts. Talk about your order, ask if they know any way to get you moved up. Don't whine or threaten but make sure they know you are eager and involved.
