Why is the the standard hybrid and from this forum, majority are getting the hybrid, why is it order only? I would imagine its the other way around.

Not necessarily… Ford projected they would sell 40% Hybrids & 60% EcoBoost, so that’s how they set up production. It’s upside down, just based on this forum. As a result of the initial higher than anticipated demand for the Hybrid, they are currently limiting the Hybrid models to retail purchases only… none to dealer stock. I’m sure they will adjust production if continued demand for the Hybrid exceeds their initial projections.So they can market standard hybrid technology with low starting price to draw people into dealerships, then present them with the more expensive models as their only option![]()
