Is hybrid FWD sufficent in Ohio where I live. I deal with occasional snow and downpour. And with the weather getting worse I'm worried I'm going to need the AWD.
Just got thru the Cleveland "Blizzard" of 2022 and found my FWD hybrid drove very similarly to my last two FWD sedans. Small amount of slipping on snowy roads here and there but not a problem getting where I needed to go. I live just W of Cleveland, so not in the snow belt. Also, just using the standard all season tires that came on the vehicle, not snow tires.

I used to commute between two houses, one in Colorado, one in Minnesota. Even in winter I used a FWD hybrid Escape for about 8 years of snowy winters. Never had a problem. Thought I'd share since the drivetrain is so similar to the Maverick.

I'm near Watertown, NY and we just got quite a bit of snow. I've gota hybrid with all terrain tires and it handled heavy snow with no issues.

Is kinda funny. Strange funny, that some people don't think hybrid cars are cars and hybrid trucks are trucks. 😎

Some have hamsters under the hood and some have a mix of hamsters and Guinea pigs. That all!
