Constraint just means a reduced number is schedule. Some items like spray in bed liners had a 3 percent constraint. Meaning of 100 percent of vehicles scheduled only 3 percent can have that option. The hybrid has been at 30-40 percent for months now. Which means ecoboost can be anywhere from 60 percent of orders scheduled to 100 percent but hybrid can only be right now up to 40 percent.

Ford did stop taking hybrid orders in November if I remember right. It's because they won't be able to produce enough by the end 2022 model year production in August/September. Basically if your order is October or November expect to get your vehicle no sooner than August or September possibly even into October depending on shipping times.
I think you’re being a bit pessimistic about the scheduling dates for the 2022 models. Ford will be taking orders for the 2023 models in August and will start building them starting September so it doesn’t make sense at all that they will continue to build The 22 model after August. Additionally they have 5500 maverick allotted for scheduling for March and 6000 for April. The whole reason they start taking hybrid orders is to Make sure they roll out all of the 22 Mavericks by the summer

How is this the first time you are hearing about this...

It's been a constraint item for like 3+ months now. They are scheduling hybrids but it's just at 40 percent of the total number scheduled. Many people ordered in August or even July and still are unscheduled
Middle of June order, not scheduled.

This is dumb. What possible reason could a dealer have for "Lying" about not being able to do an order?
Someone NOT ME may point out your comment is dumb....again not me. But dealers lie cuz they don't know the truth and it's easy to lie thinking customer is as ill informed as they are.

I mean, everyone has the POTENTIAL to lie, even you guys, the customer, the dealer, hell Ford themselves. That shouldnt be the first assumption though.

Which makes those of us who ordered in June/July worried that with the constraint set that our orders won't get built for MY22 and will get pushed to MY23....

I think it makes complete sense that Ford will be building MY22 hybrids thru the Fall with the hybrid constraint. If ford can only build 40% hybrids in a given month, let's say March, that's only 2200 hybrids. April would be 2400 hybrids. Throw in the other constraints (18% lux package, SIBL, etc),and if demand is what they claim and we've seen, MY22 will still be rolling off the lines in the Fall and would probably become MY23.

My order date for a Lariat hybrid was October 20. My dealer notified me today Ford has already pulled the order with a statement saying it will not be built with as a hybrid. I can change it to a 2.0 Ecoboost engine and it will get put back in line for a build date.
