Hybrid bedliner for hybrid? Success!

Hemmed and hawed about ridding my truck of slippery drop in floor mat but keeping the four sides intact. Factory soft bed mat slightly oversized thus not a great fit. Removed side tie-downs and floor tie downs and was able to remove floor piece. Laid in soft mat and was able to get it under both sides. A carpentry flat bar and a few good palm swats got it under the front piece.

Looks like a good solution to protect the sides and not have things slide around without an expensive spay in liner.

I did the same w/ a Muslogy mat b/c that mat has a lip on all sides.. makes containing the garbage juice from jump runs much easier haha.

I have the DIBL and used this mat last week to haul 1420 lbs. of small Arizona cobble. The mat is a bit tight at the edges due to the extra thickness of the side panels. I did not mind because the mat was just a temporary use for this situation.

No. It will “wrinkle” from being too tight

Professional spray in isn't as expensive as some people think. Well worth every nickel- I've spilled gas and oil on the tailgate (thanks Hurrican Helene chainsaw duties!) and it just sprays off. We've slammed stuff around in the back for over a year without a scratch.

Not a good fit. Wrinkles or it needs to be trimmed
