    Transmissions are generally splash lubrication. Assuming the vehicle hasn’t lost liters, 50 miles of driving shouldn’t be a serious issue.

    The Maverick 12v BMS is currently such a cluster, I would hesitate to try anything until Ford gets first principles figured out. As an aside, The F150 hybrid (albeit different hybrid architecture than the Mav) has two 12V batteries wired in parallel.

    I have used oil siphons for 25+years with great results, though I always use the gravity drain and fill for the first change. Old break-in habits die hard. Back in the days of ATF dip sticks, I would spill and fill with the siphon as well, but drop the pan and service the filter the first time...
