HVAC module

I am getting code C1B14:11 circuit short to ground. Tried resetting HVAC module and it will not reset. Has anyone had this issue?

Finally put it in the garage to get this problem checked it, it was giving a ground fault code. Turned out the wiring harness was rubbing behind the dash and rubbed a wire through. Fortunately for me it was covered under my Extended warranty. $140.00 an hour labor would have broke the bank for me. They probably had 4-5 hours of labor on it plus the wiring harness.

I'm glad you won the warranty lottery!

Looks like those of us who purchased in 2022-2023 came out ahead, as the prices for the warranties have really gone up on them.

It turned out that the repair was actually covered under a 8yr 80,000 mile safety warranty so I had no deductible to pay.

Wow - that much movement behind the dash to cause a rub thru.

If that's the result of just some minor vibrating sometimes, ugh.
