I am getting ready to install my Kicker HS-10 in my Maverick and have a couple questions. I have searched threads and watched YT videos to no avail.

Has anyone used the existing threads or the B%O bracket to install their sub board instead of gluing elevator bolts onto the back wall? It seems like there are a few points of contact there that could be utilized??

How does the plug-n-play harness for the Kicker HS10 work? It came with no instructions whatsoever. Does it include a remote wire or do I have to run that from somewhere else? I understand I have to run a power and ground and how to disassemble the panels but not sure what that harness does.

I will also be upgrading the rear speakers and I have the harnesses and such for those.

YES, I used the in place BO subwoofer bracket for my "infinity baselink mini" (don't know mounting brackets for HS-10).
Only had to push out/flatten BO bracket a bit to line up top holes with mounting brackets on my amp but had to mount a piece of wood through holes in middle to mount my bottom amp brackets to wood. (see attached)

IMPORTANT NOTE to SUB-Woofer installers: DO NOT change factory radio "occupancy mode" setting to "DRIVER" (if tapping into rear satellite speaker wires to be input for a subwoofer).
[Setting > Sound Settings >Occupancy mode > "use ALL SEATS not DRIVER"]

I spent 2 days on with crutchfield trying to figure out why i had power but amp would not play a signal from my AA battery signal popping inputs I tapped into (they even gave me a Scosche LOC90 RCA Line Output Converter)

I drilled and tapped the existing holes in the bracket to 1/4-20 size and mounted my 10” hideaway to the existing bracket.

you connect power and ground, leave remote untouched and set the hideaway to “DC” and it will turn on and off with the vehicle. It does keep power for about 15 minutes or so after you shut the truck off though.

you're still getting a very heavily filtered bass signal. all seats lets the rear play to like 300hz. driver focus cuts them higher, 600hz.

your sub will perform a lot better if you tap a front door speaker instead.

Good info on 300/600 -- the powered sub-woofer has a dial programmable cutover . Right now the infinity basslink is out-performing the rest of factory speakers next spring when i catch a good sale plan on replacing door speakers and will I guess re-wire/tap into door speakers to have sub keep up with door replacements

And yeah my auto turn-on/off did not work fully (maybe cause the input signal lines I tapped into are filtered as colinl said) I tapped into usb in back seat on center console for 12v to connect to (blue) turn on/off wire. I have lux package usb back seat came with that I believe.
