I was wondering how vulnerable the sensors are on the trucks that have copilot 360 and ACC. Seems like a little bumber nick or front end bump could Knock out the sensors. Has anyone had an issue with this?

Unless you precisely hit something sticking out the ACC sensor is reasonably well protected; it's actually pretty cheap compared to some of the other bodywork that'd be getting smashed otherwise. The front CoPilot 360 is done by the camera behind the top of the windshield.

The rear CoPilot 360 sensors are slightly forwards of the rear corners and potentially a bit vulnerable. Although again they aren't comparatively that expensive versus the bumper cover itself. I don't know the rear sonar sensor prices off the top of my head but they're typically <$100.

Thanks for the reply. Just curious if that had been an issue.

as usual, Darnon pretty well covered about all that needed to be said.

the ACC module is somewhat expensive, $400ish, but I certainly agree it's unlikely to get damaged by a rock strike or other flying debris.

the systems are sensitive to snow and ice buildup, and heavy rain. they won't function until they are cleared of snow and ice, but there's nothing special you need to do besides let it warm up and make sure it's clean, especially the windshield in front of the camera.
