CoPilot 360, can you spray cleaner?

On my recently sold Subaru the safety cameras at the top of the windshield were open. Subaru expressly says NOT to spray window cleaner on the windshield but to spray a cloth and clean that way. Are the Ford lenses protected or are they exposed like Subaru? I’ve tried lots of different searches and can’t get an answer. Needless to say it’s much harder cleaning the glass if you can spray it.
