So I have 2022 XLT EcoBOOST. I am already a SiriusXM subscriber & I have the app on my Android phone.

Nothing is needed, no antenna ETC. You should already have everything loaded in your Maverick/Fordpass (Android AutoConnect/Bluetooth).

1. Attach to Mav USB 2. Open ph & turn off wifi then open Bluetooth pair device Ford Maverick. 3. Open SiriusXM app & choose a channel. Works as if you have the app in your vehicle. Change songs etc., & you still receive Google maps, phone calls & even text.

So if you don't want to connect your phone then you can connect this adapter (Ottocast A2Air).

Now my phone is free & it automatically starts up & I no longer have reset everything I get in my Maverick.

Ford Maverick How to load SiriusXM automatically and free up your phone (using Ottocast A2Air) 16758726448168068113060581236466

Thanks for the post! Just ordered one for iPhone and we'll see how it goes.

Yeah, sounds like what is being described is just using the SiriusXM app on your phone via Bluetooth to the radio. Then using CarPlay as normal.
Using the wireless CarPlay adapter is irrelevant here.

Yes. In my post I explained that. However you can change channel on ph app. However I am working on finding out how.
I am so happy that I don't have to buy all the equipment & run antenna etc., to hear my music. I just returned from a 7 hr drive & never lost connection.

The Motorola Android Auto device I use allows me to change the channels on the phone's Sirius app using the radio's screen.

Thanks. I thought I seen it pop up on my screen but didn't comment until I was sure because I did have to upgrade my Samsung android to get it all to work. I hardly go anywhere so I'll ck it out on my next time out.
