What about restarting it? Thought that was number 1
Makes sense. First thing I do is restart. Then if computer related I swap out the USB C cable to dock. Must be why IT likes me. They can jump past those on the rare instance I reach out.

Of course neither of those solutions will work when you reach out to them because your laptop bag is stolen.

You two have Sync 3 via the Lariat Luxury Package, which has built-in voice commands, which are used by default so long as you don't have Android Auto or CarPlay active.

The standard infotainment system (like in OP's XLT) does not have native voice commands. It does not have/is not Sync, even though they copied the Sync 3 interface. It does have the ability to pass through voice commands to your connected smartphone, to use Google Assistant, Siri, Bixby, etc.
That's the operative answer connected by means of a good (not used) USB CORD

So my Pixel 7 works fine with passing thru voice commands when pressing the talk button on the steering wheel but unlike the earlier post/solution to Samsung phones my Flip5 has updated software and will process and just says phone voice supported not enabled no matter that I have given Google every voice authorization possible - Any ideas ? * I do have Sync/3 and completely disabled Bixby and the default assistant is Google*
