How to adjust ACC distance from vehicle in front

I have 2022 Lariat with Adaptive Cruise Control. In the last few days the ACC feature that controls the distance from the vehicle in front has changed to make it much longer than the previous distance maintained. I cannot find how to adjust the distance. Can anyone tell me where to change this setting and how to adjust it?

On my 2024 Lariat, the control for this is on the left side of the steering wheel where the cruise control controls are. I have one button to control "lane centering" (which is very useful on highway trips) and another button which will cycle thru the "following distance" settings for the adaptive cruise control. A display on my dashboard tells me which following distance is currently in use.
