Anybody know how many ‘22 First Editions were built?

I special ordered mine; Lariat Lux Package, Hybrid, First Edition with Rapid Red Metallic, Toughbed, Tie downs bed cover and tow package (2000lbs).

I've been asking that since I ordered and waited 13 months for mine! One of the best things ive done!

I still have mine. Ordered 20 June 2021 and received on 20 October 2022. It is my daily driver and now has 19,000 miles on it. This wonderful little truck has been driven to Iowa twice from North Carolina.

I've been asking that since I ordered and waited 13 months for mine! One of the best things ive done!

Rapid Red was the best color for the FE. I had a Area 51 and kicked myself for not ordering RR.

I just traded in my 2022 Rapid Red 1st edition ecoboost with 80,000 km with no problems.
Bought a 2025 Ruby Red Lariat Black edition with the totally new 2.0 ecoboost engine.

I have personally seen a few, but in SoCal they are like the Tremor pretty rare. I have only seen eight in the wild since my first Tremor. The eighth being A 25 Lariat Tremor last week.

If I had to put a number on First editions I'd say 10,000 it was a pretty penny back then. My 2022 Hybrid XL had a moonroof, 2k tow package, center console plug and I ordered it in October of 21 and got it October of 22. That was a rare spec for the 22 and XL.

I have yet to see another First Edition in the wild. I have a love-hate relationship with my carbonized grey, both camouflaging the FE stripes and the dirt. She has just over 50K miles and has taken me on many a trip with excellent hybrid gas mileage-about 48mpg lifetime average. She is my daily driver with a 45 minute commute one way. Spotting a Maverick has now become my families new seeing a VW beetle game, with a shout of Mav-RICK! but no arm punching LOL.
I always end up saying to my trucklet, "but you are prettier Ellie".

Bought my 1st Edition Lariat EcoBoost used 1.5 years ago with 21k miles from a Chevy dealer...The previous owner added mud flaps, hard roll back tonneau cover and a front leveling kit but the only option he didn't add was the tow package. It now has 39k miles and doesn't used 1 bit of oil and after 3k miles, the oil stil looks new...I love my little beast..Serves all my load bearing needs as well as a great road trip vehicle
