How long did it take from the time you got your order confirmation email from Ford before the order showed up in you online account?

It won't show up in your Ford account until you have been issued a VIN number along with production scheduled date.

I have my VIN and build date and it shows up under my vehicles but not under my order & reservations. I"m just going to leave it alone.

Not yet, then you have been issued a VIN and a build date you can see updates in the Ford account. Not before that.

As Big_T said, you 1st need a Vin number. For instance I have a Ford account but it doesn't even show that I have ordered a Maverick. I ordered on the 7th of July and got my email from Ford the same day, but it does not show in my Ford account. I've even called and have been told that it is something they are working on? But once you do get a vin number then you can enter it in your account and "voila" it will finally show that you indeed have ordered a vehicle. Go figure

I just wanted to make sure I don't "need" a Ford account, that the info I need will come thru the dealer when needed (either me asking or they providing).

I'm in no hurry and might like the call from nowhere saying - "your truck is ready"! I'm probably the minority here...

HELP ME OUT here, guys. I went into my local dealership in early August and sat down with the sales guy to order a Lariat, hybrid model Maverick. He said I'd have a Order Conformation email from Ford before I got home. Nothing from Ford or anyone since then! Opened a Ford.com membership but it doesn't show that I've ordered anything either! How do I know I'm even on a list somewhere for a new Maverick?

Can’t do much to find that out unfortunately. You’re really at the mercy of your dealer and trusting that they actually submitted it.

Other than contacting your dealer and asking, the best you can do is try calling Ford customer support and have your order preview code ready (need to ask your dealer for this). They’ll be able to confirm your order is submitted.

Dealer order receipt acknowledgment: it’s Ford acknowledging they received the order and your exact build. Your dealership should’ve had you sign it and taken a photocopy of your DL. Not all did, but Ford was requesting it.

I got email within 72hrs confirming my order 3 weeks later I have a Vin and Oct 18th build date for my 2.0 xl . looks like I will be selling my 05 STA sooner..
