How long are Mavericks taking to get in after they are built???

Asking for a friend... and me! LOL My XL Hybrid is scheduled for 4/14 to be built. I am wondering when I could hope to get it. I am in the midwest.

Did you happen to miss the other 6 threads on the exact same topic? The short answer is there is no consistent average time from shipment notice to arrival at your dealership. Also, there is absolutely nothing you can do to speed up or influence the process. Welcome to the Maverick waiting club.

Built 1/12/23. Arrived at dealer 2/11/23 (Saturday). Picked it up 2/13/23 (Monday). I'm in Houston so transit is pretty quick once it left. Biggest bottleneck was from built to shipped (tracker says shipped 1/29 but it may have been a bit earlier).

Yep. There’s just no telling or predicting.

Our XLT was built 12/01/2022. Didn’t ship for a month — 1/02/2023. Didn’t arrive at dealers for another month — 3/02/2023. (Northeastern Pennsylvania.)

But others have had their trucks ship the day after they were built.

So there’s just no telling. Ford and its customers are at the mercy of rail and truck carrier companies and their logistics management.

It is a crapshoot from production to delivery. Mine took three weeks from the time it went into production to say built and another before it shipped. Some have gotten it built and shipped in the same week. Same with shipping. There is someone on here who is going to the same dealer as mine and shipped a week after me and it will probably get to the dealer first. Mine decided to take a detour to Tampa for some reason and is now stuck waiting to be moved again while his went on as mine should've.

TLDR; Between 3 weeks and 3 months.

Crossed into USA 12/9

Still waiting, now 80 days on a rail car. Dealer says it is sitting in Portland, Oregon waiting for a truck to haul it north.

I am curious how you got this level of detail? My maverick was built 1-30-23 and shipped 2-1-23, but I have no idea how to track it beyond that. My estimated delivery date is 2-27-23.

I contacted Ford Chat and got the rail car number that my truck was on. I then followed it using the Norfolk Southern automated system. Once it's dropped off at the last rail destination you can track the truck carrying it to your dealership via unitedroad.com
