I unfortunately doubt they'll make a meaningful difference in whether you get rear-ended or not. That has more to do with traffic density, how aggressively you brake, and if the person behind you is paying attention.

Agreed. 100s of cars are getting rear ended every day. It’s not a Maverick issue.

I have one from the military that warns people to stay back 100 ft or you will be shot (and repeats it in Arabic). Needless to say, that one has never made it to a vehicle
