Uninsured, no license. Driving under influence. But since she took off, by the time police got to her home they could not arrest her for dui. We had uninsured motorist insurance as well , so we are good.

Exactly, the car she was driving not hers, only had p.i.p. on the car that hit us, our full coverage handled our truck repairs,$11,000, and our, very small settlement , from hired lawyer covered my shoulder surgery and my P.T. for 24 sessions. We were out of pocket about $ 3000.00. Important thing was no one seriously hurt and no one died. The lady that hit us was a convicted felon , and has since been arrested again . I am just glad and Blessdd that we were o.k.

we fixed that issue on arrest in VA years ago. had some good convictions on dwi/duid w/o the officer observing the offense.

Wish they would do that in FL.as well

yes , but I need to up my Uninsured motorist limits, just in case of a really bad accident, you never know.

we fixed that issue on arrest in VA years ago. had some good convictions on dwi/duid w/o the officer observing the offense.

Nevada dealt with this a couple of decades ago by changing from "a) drunk or b) .08" to "a) drunk or b) .08 within two hours after driving".

And also having aa judge on duty to assure warrants for blood draw.

Lady was also under the influence, but officer not allowed to arrest on that since he did not see her driving UGH, again.
Some soreness with wife's hip, and my right shoulder do to holding onto wheel during impact, but nothing broken, could have been worse.

Show up at court. She deserves some ill reward. And you deserve some satisfaction.
I just had an accident that looked not as bad as yours and it was almost $10k.
