Herculiner Roll on Bed Liner DIY review

I have old junk trailer I triple brushed HF $50/gal bed liner (had to stir after every 3rd brush dip to keep texture suspended). Trailer was very rusted so I brushed with phosphoric acid, rinsed off, then blower dried, then brushed liner on. Did that 11-12 years ago and still looks good. Would NOT acid wash maverick. Not sure I would use HF liner on it but would highly recommend practicing on old trailer or piece of metal roofing with at least some flat areas. Maybe his looked the way it did because it rained on it before it was completely cured????

It did include scuff pads. I did not take the cover off. It wasnt that important for me for it to look perfect. 8 months later its still great. I ended up coating a half sheet of mdf with it that i cut to fit around the wheelwells. This has helped preserve the floor portion quite a bit. If you need to touch up a scrape in the liner, tremclad gloss black is the exact same color

Nice. In the picture it looks like a semi gloss finish. Is that correct or is it more matte?

I used the same product and got the same semi gloss finish. I have a bed cover so it isn't seen. I will say that it is durable AND, stuff doesn't slide around on it very easily. For this old fart, I am happy.
