Help with installation

I received the low profile side windows deflector and didn’t come with instruction. I’m trying to figure out where does this plastic goes. I tried inserting it inside the plastic bezel but it will leave the side mirror cover expose to water and elements. Unless I suppose to cut that price off? Any help will be great or if anyone has done it already and would like to share pictures. Many thanks in advance.

I second this thread. Surprised there are no answers anywhere online on how to install these things. I feel like I'm going to break the mirror guard trying to shove that stupid tab behind it.

It won't break. There are a couple of YouTube videos on this, do a search, it will give you confidence and one has a tab mod as well
