The tread pattern on the tire from what I can see from the picture does not look like an oe equipped tire( at least here in the states), are there over size replacement tires on the truck that have rubbed the splash shield under certain road and turning conditions? Then again if no over size tires , on second look, it does appear to have some little critter teeth marks on the edge of the hole.
