It is 30% I think.
The tonneau is the Ford tri fold hard one which is a rebrand of the Bakflip MX4.
The wheels are bronze. I didn't notice a change in mileage.
thank you man. i'll look in to that cover.

l am about to pull the trigger on a 24 XL hybrid Mav.
I have been going back n forth between the XLT & XL. For *me* unless I for for the full Lux pkg the xlt does not make since.
plus I like the black/gray of the XL interior a lot over the XLT.

anyway with the $$ I am saving from going XLT I want to upgrade the wheels & tires. chances are I can wrap this up into my loan.

my goals are:
1. to give it a more rugged truck like appearance.
2. not reduce MPG that much. ( I know peeps will say this does not make since to get a hybrid then add bigger tires. but if it only cuts down a little on MPG I am ok with that. )

I live in the mountains and winter here is nov. -end of april.
my commute is over one of the steepest passes in the country, about 18 miles of turns and up to 10% grade.

In winter i'll have some nice studded snow tires or extreme winter rates tires.

anyway I need help deciding on wheels and tire size.

tires I am thinking 235/65/R17
wheels I am not sure would be nice to find some good quality not to expensive so I can get two sets. for summer and winter tires.

anyway would love to see what you guys have done for your XL wheel upgrades.
need some inspiration and "best" places to shop.

cheers!
I went with the xl with cp360. Got my truck with special offer just over 20 grand. My wheels are from Discount Tire. Cost with everything 735.00. Love the xl interior.

I went with an XL with AWD, 4k tow and CP360. I got CP360 to get power mirrors but having the warnings when cars are approaching is nice too. I felt the price delta to an XLT wasn't worth it and wasn't crazy about the orange trim in the XLT. The one thing I wanted was alloy wheels, but I was able to get some XLT wheels from a forum member (haven't put them on yet). I've added bed tie downs and will probably add bed cubbies and power tailgate lock later.

By "rugged," I guess that you mean BLACK. If price is a concern, I bought a set of the cheaper (less than $300) BBS wheels, the SX model. It comes in black or silver; I opted for the latter. Asking a forum about tires shows a glutton for punishment. If there are 5,000 folks on here, you will get 5,000 recommendations. Good luck with your choice.

I remember looking at wheels recently. arent each one somewhere around 50 lbs between tire and rim. Its definitely harder to find weights on tires but rims are pretty well known. Not knowing your preferences, about the most I can recommend is using MR wheel deal. They are secondary business of Custom Offsets but they generally beat the prices of everybody else.
Every manufacturer website should list their tore weights. I haven't found one that doesn't except maybe some random offbrand knockoffs.

The forum is full of people with many opinions. Here is mine: go with what you want.

You will get lots of support and naysayers no matter which way you go. Personally, I agree with you: I can live with the XL's standard interior, the Trevor interior, or a Black Appearance Package. I don't like the XLT's standard interior and am not excited about the Lariat's standard interior.

I bought a 2023 XLT when you could get the Black Appearance Package without having to buy the Luxury Package, and I like it.

My son loves the standard XLT interior and that is what he has.

My wife wants a Maverick (and I won't let her have mine ). She dislikes the standard XLT and Lariat interiors. She also doesn't want all of the features of the Lariat or Tremor. Consequently, we plan on getting her an XL Hybrid this year.

I just purchased these Alpha Halo CUV wheels on sale for $143/each from Tire Rack

There aren't a lot of on-road all-terrain tire choices to go with my Rough Country 2-inch strut lift and the Black Appearance Package 18-inch wheels. As a result, I went with a 17-inch wheel.

If I could have located a used set of 17-inch alloy wheels from a Bronco Sport or Maverick, I would have gone with that option. Yet, it's hard to beat $572 for a set of brand new wheels.

Good luck with your order and hope you get your Maverick soon.

yup forums can be such a positive and negative experience. but I do value people options and I always take it with a huge grain of salt.

I went with the 245/70R-17 Vredestein Pinza AT tires.

I had a Rough Country 2-inch strut lift kit installed by Rebel Off Road (Lake Forest, CA) last week on my Shadow Black 2023 XLT EB AWD with Black Appearance Package. The on-road all-terrain tire choices for the 18-inch wheels are very limited, so I bought these 17-inch wheels on sale with the oversized tires. The Tire Rack mobile installer should install them on Monday.

I will post pictures when they are installed.

It's too bad the matching V-series A.R.E. shell is still a few weeks away.

I also ordered all of the skid plates from JCR Off Road. Rebel Off Road is supposed to install them in early May. I will ask them to take pictures while the truck is still on the lift and after they are installed.
