I have a 24 Mav, trying to source replacement door sails in case audio project goes wrong or wanting to revert back to stock. Can anyone help me find part numbers for drivers side and passengers side door sails? (The black triangular trim pieces)

It is fused to the rest of the door plastic.

Hm that’s a bummer. Any ideas on part # for the driver/passenger a pillar trim then?

Have one new in box , will post a pic . Be careful as clip pulls out from plastic and stays in door then you have to buy replacement at about 25$ , clip won’t stay on plastic again once pulled off wrong.
it is not fused with lower door panel , just use a good trim removal tool and get behind area I point to in next post.

This is drivers side upper panel , part number for passenger similar .
Just use good tool to pull center rubber/ metal clip off with cover at same time or you will need to rebuy clips and/ or cover.otherwise you should be reusable !
Good luck

lol I went off the word of the other guy and assumed they were correct so I've already ordered A pillars instead for my project. Should be picking them up this week and will verify the part #'s for those for future reference.. appreciate you clarifying that they are indeed removable. Didn't make much sense to me that they would be fused.

Funny my driver side one did the exact thing explained in this thread. Now I need new clips and/or new sails. I was exploring for tweeter placement. I realized after the fact that with the warm temp outside and not using a trim tool why it happened. The plastics are very soft to begin with and in warmer weather the plastics become soft butter.

I already purchased pillars since the first post incorrectly said the sails were part of the inner door lining but haven’t started my audio project yet. Got most of what I need though. I’m interested to see what you do with your tweeters.

I'm still not 100% sold on putting a component speaker system up front. I'm having a hard time finding the ohm load capability of the base stock headunit. The front stage in its oem setup sends 2.67 ohms (if my math is correct) to the headunit. Given that the door speakers and tweeters are wired in parallel. The door speaker is 4 ohm and the tweeter is 8 ohm. I found a pioneer 6.5 component set that uses a 4 ohm 6.5 speaker and a 6 ohm tweeter. Wired in parallel gives you 2.4 ohms. This is all a mute point if these systems use passive caps to make the end ohm load a 4 ohm load. I give myself a headache sometimes....lol
