Hey fellow Maverick owners!
Happy to be in this group. Spent many days in Jeep TJ forums so this is all familiar. I know there are some other former/current Jeepers in this group
I'm moving on from dealing with 3 old and declining vehicles and thrilled to have a ride that will (hopefully) be low maintenance. Just bought my '22 Mav Lariat (FX4) 2 weeks ago. I just couldn't wait for a new one and I found this baby for a decent deal. Boy you should see the used car dealership I got it from. Look up Godspeed Motors in Charlotte... Great experience and just a cool place to hang out.
My Mav had 25k miles - near perfect condition. Except the Pirelli Scorpions on it are way too worn for 25k miles so don't buy those. Then on day 2 there was a knock in the front driver suspension:-0 I did a lot of highway driving the first week and it was fine until I got on bumpy city roads (VA Beach roads SUCK). I turned it into the local Ford Service Station asap and crossed my fingers. I was honestly ready to battle them BUT they fixed it for no charge under warranty. Big sigh of relief! Replaced the sway bar link and wireless electronic chassis ears(??). Please tell me that's not something I'll have to fix out of warranty on the other side...
Anyway, I'm loving my new ride! Just installed a 12v outlet in the bed and can't wait to use it for blowing up my inflatable paddle board and easy power access while tailgaiting at NC State Football games (Go State!).
I'm looking forward to reading and learning about all things Maverick on this site. Thanks to Admin and all of the knowledgeable contributors!
I'll get more pics...
