Good luck with your new Maverick order you will most likely be waiting for a while and make sure your current vehicle is in good working order. Make sure you get a price Dora from your dealer. 😊

Welcome and best wishes with your order. XL hybrids are often very difficult to get. I'm giving up on my Sep '23 XL order and rolling over to a Lariat for '24. Something I never thought I would do. The XL, if you can get it, is really the best value. Add just the Copilot 360 and you get the larger spare tire and power mirrors. The CP360 safety system alone could pay for itself if needed. The more I learned about the Maverick, the more I wanted the full safety suite (Copilot Assist) only available on the Lariat. Be prepared for a long wait; maybe even over a year. You will become very well informed on all things Maverick and then some, if you follow the forum regularly. It can be addicting.

Hello fellow ‘24 XL Hybrid orderer! I love my Santa Cruz but the fuel economy of the hybrid is just too appealing. Good luck to all of us!

I grew to enjoy the 2.5T Santa Cruz, but their transmission choice and tuning let it down. Check your priority code and let me know what you got.

I'm almost afraid to admit it in this forum but I too have a Santa Cruz. I've got a '23 SEL Premium and I am starting to love it. They really are a world apart from the Maverick, the SC seems like a luxury bucket compared to the Maverick and the 2.5T is pretty sweet though I would agree with RevNation, they could have made a better choice with the DCT. The MPG isn't too bad but certainly nothing like my hybrid Mav.

Got priority code 9, but reading around, it does not seem to mean anything anymore as it is all over the place.

Yes, fuel economy (at a decent price) is the only reason I am giving it a try. I can care less about all the other gizmos.

Greetings and welcome from Hendersonville. Priority 9 is a good start, and if the dealer has a decent allotment number, it may take shorter than you think. When I first got interested in a Mav, I contacted Cloninger in Hickory, and they haven't forgotten me, as I just got a text asking if I was still shopping. I took delivery from Parks Ford here in H'ville in May, 8 months from order, MSRP.

There are a LOT of good tips and mods on this forum that have saved me time and money.
