I have been a MTC member for 1.5 years. This is my first post. Lol. My wife has a 22' (purchased new) XL, Area 51. I traded my F150 for a 24' Tremor XLT, Terrain with Lux Pkg and moon roof. We love our Mavericks and we have had no issues so far. I have learned a lot from all of you in the past year and a half. And, I appreciate all of the knowledge that is shared here. I will try to be a little more active from now on. Lol.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Hello and welcome to MTC. Thanks for sharing, or posting. Really appreciate the pictures.

So how was the transition coming from a full size F150 to the Maverick? I hope your still appreciating the maneuverability, smooth ride, and hopefully fuel economy the Ford Maverick offers? The reason I'm asking I'm also coming from a F150 once my order gets here. The above reasons also easier access to get in and out of the Maverick. Lower bed height getting things in and out of the bed also was a consideration. I'm hoping it's easier to park the F150 extended crew takes up a lot of room and to turn in or back out. The only thing I'm hesitant on is if I can get use to not having a perch or high visibility when driving. I had to go with the FX4 and 4k tow package with optional p235. I needed the mileage, payload, and trailer towing capabilities that the tremor doesn't offer. I will probably miss the tremors approach angle, ground clearance, lockers, and trail control. Hopefully not as bad as needing what I already mentioned. Best of luck with both yours and your wife's Maverick.

It was actually an easy transition from the F150 to the Maverick. I've driven my wife's Maverick many times over the last year and a half, and the more I've driven it the more I've liked it. I'm also 69 years old and decided that I don't really need a full size truck anymore. I have found the Maverick easier to drive in traffic and easier to park. Also, it didn't take long at all to get accustomed to the lower ride hight of the Maverick. So, when the opportunity came along to purchase the Tremor, I didn't hesitate. My son is the finance manager at the Ford dealership, which made the purchase of both Mavericks easy and painless. Lol. I hope that helped.

It did, thank you for posting your experience with the transition. Very much appreciated.

Hello from Hillsborough county just above you (east Tampa).
Looks like we have the same Tremor with similar upgrades....

I, too, downsized from the past 5 years of driving F-150s. Zero trouble or inconvenience moving to the smaller truck.

Thrilled to have the 2024 Terrain Tremor, and so far, so good at 4500 miles.

Got it at Ferman Ford in Clearwater. Love the truck, don't like the dealer, and would not recommend them to anyone.

Your Tremor looks great! I have 2,200 trouble free miles on my Tremor so far. I couldn't be happier with both mine and my wife's Mavericks. We live in Palmetto, north Manatee County. I get up to Tampa often, I take my grandkids to Busch Gardens a lot, it's 45 minutes away.
We have a great dealership, Charlotte County Ford in Pt. Charlotte. They sell a lot of Mavericks. They have several on the lot now in case anyone sees this and is looking. My son is the Finance Manager there. I hope everything continues to go well with your truck. Have a great evening.

I know Palmetto fairly well. Years ago, we used to go to that pipe organ pizza place on 301. Wonderful pizza joint that my family really enjoyed that's now long gone, unfortunately.

We lived in Kissimmee for 22 years. Left in 2005 after Charley, Francis, Ivan and Jeane.

That was a LONG summer. Boarded up from August to Thanksgiving. Ran of a generator 7 to 10 days after each hurricane. Decided we liked snow better.

The name of the old pizza place was"The Roaring 20's" . That was a fun place to go. It's a branch of the Manatee Public Library now.
My wife and I used to go to Old Town when they had a lot going on. I've been wanting to go to the Mecum Auto Auction for years. Maybe next January.
