Gresham Ford Maverick MY23 Orders?

I’m curious about anyone else who has ordered MY23 Mavericks through Gresham and whether you have or have not received a confirmation email from Ford or anything that proves your order was placed and accepted.

I was told by Dave at Gresham that they didn't place any orders for '23's because they didn't have the ordering info until after the orders had already sold out, which was like a 2 day period, even though I had emailed him inquiring about an order as soon as the info was posted on here. @Feldgary53 When did you put an order in?

I ordered on 9/19 and received a preview order sheet via email and signed it then returned. Paid a $500 deposit over the phone.
Dave told me it was in and good that afternoon but a week and a half later I was told it disappeared from the orders. I was basically screwed at that point but as of last Sunday he had a canceled order that he put my name on and modified it to match my original order and gave me a new preview sheet.
I just received a status report this morning from Ford via Facebook messenger that it is in order processing. I wanted to see if I could still get status thru Ford CS even though my name wasn’t on this order originally.

My go to for getting info has been using the Ford Chat feature on their website. Do you have the order number for the cancelled order?

My local dealer gave me the same story except that I was standing in his office and told him he was wrong. He checked the ordering page and said "huh, that's weird I guess you can order them". I was the first '23 Maverick they ordered because they had no idea the order bank was open.

I ordered with Graham Ford the morning of 9/16. Received a confirmation email from Ford a few hours later.
Haven't talked to anyone at the dealership since than.
Yesterday I received the "sorry it's been awhile " email.
Will continue to wait and see.

I reached out via the Ford official Facebook page to ask if I could still get status updates from CS even though my name wasn’t on the original order and was asked to provide the order number and personal info plus the selling dealer name and location. An hour or so later I got the information I was looking for. I don’t explicitly trust anything I hear though as most here can relate to

Had something similar with a dealership near me. I called them they said they weren’t open and didn’t know when they would. I politely explained they were open. They said they would look and call me back. They never did I ended up at another dealership the next morning.
