Hello all, I have recently placed a order for a 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD in the Lariat Trim. Eruption Green was my color choice. Hoping to lurk around the site and get some ideas for the truck while I wait for it to be built!

*Edit* Also forgot to mention I did add on the 4k tow package otherwise the truck is just a base Lariat Package.

Happy to be here!
Jason
Congrats on your new Maverick! Here's to a speedy delivery!

Hello and welcome to MTC. Keep us updated on your order. Hoping you get it soon. I would rethink those tires. AT tires for sure but to big or if you lift good chance your going to lose mpg. With 100 miles a day I would think every mpg means $$$.

Correct, My goal is keep the truck factory ride height with ideally a 17" wheel and AT Tires. These are the aftermarket wheels I had in mind if I can not find someone with the 17" OEM wheels they are willing to sell.

Welcome to the club and congratulations for starting your Maverick build. Everyone has a different design and need for their Maverick, so it's difficult to advise you on what you should add to yours. My advice is to spend a lot of time browsing the forums and you'll find something that solves a need or just looks cool. The great thing about the club is our members are more than willing to help you out with where to get stuff and how to install it.

Thanks! Glad to be here and definitely looking forward into tapping into the knowledge some of you OG owners have that will be practical to my 2024! Not my 1st new vehicle or vehicle I plan to tastefully mod to adjust to fit my needs!

If the outback wilderness got better fuel economy and I had to haul less stuff for work I would likely of stayed in a wagon! Love them but unfortunately the manufactures in the US do not love wagons back.

There was a reason for the popularity of the station wagon. They morphed into SUV's, but who knows, maybe they'll make a come back. Growing up, my dad always had one – 56 Nash Rambler, 60 Rambler Classic, and finally a 67 Chevy Impala wagon. Great memories.

Parents had a 68 Ford country squire 390ci (totaled) 68 Ford country squire 302 ci (replacement for the totaled 390ci) 69 LTD wagon 390ci and finally a 1974 country squire 400 modified (kind of a smog friendly Cleveland engine) wagons were everywhere.

I grew up in wagons (Ford LTD then Taurus) but they lost popularity in the 1980s. Minivans then SUVs took the lead.

The SUV trend was promoted as a step up from the lowly station wagon. Highbrow if you will.

I'm willing to bet the 74 country squire (love how marketing tried to sophisticate the wagon) had the "wooden" sides.

Our74 was a burnt orange color without the woody look. Now the 69 LTD wagon had all the wood on it.
