The dealer didn't find it. Those just come automatically to the websites from Ford....... That's how I was actually expecting the Area 51 to look when we first ordered one!

I've seen pictures of those here and looked at the entry for it. The listed color was Carbonized Grey. Not for sure if it really is or not tho.

Fairway Ford, Evans, GA has six, retail, mavericks listed. All this color in pictures. Perhaps this picture is used by dealers for all retail orders they list.....

Cracks me up how Ford is trying to get people to buy cars with color, by mixing gray in them, thats all a51 is blue with grey in it.

I like the idea of an eruption green (the name notwithstanding) Maverick, but would be concerned about the way it would look with the interior color being primarily blue. I think the combination might not be the best ever...

Yup lol. Cactus gray is also the same principle but a lot less saturated and lighter. Ford isn't the only one doing it though.

Yep, it kind of reminds me of the soft tones 40s and early 50s cars. I wonder how long it will take to get back to the hot colors of the 60s and 70s.

My ole baby! Looked alot brighter when not under an Ohio overcast sky.
