Owning a shadow black Tremor and living in a climate that sees a lot of rain, hard water spots can be a real pain in the ass.

Today, as I was toweling off the truck after a wash, I tried the bottle of Boat Bling Hot Sauce that I'd recently received. Truck had a lot of spots all over the place so I hit each area with a couple quick sprays as I wiped. With very little effort, it erased pretty much all the spots the truck had.

The spray is obviously made for boats but it's safe for several different applications, including cars/trucks/ATVs. Really the only downside is the somewhat strong, vinegary scent it has but it fades fairly quickly.

Definitely recommend if you're interested in a solid water spot remover. 👍

The white hard water spots can be tough to get out if you don't know what you're doing. I've had those little white spots in the past; no amount of washing or scrubbing with soap will remove them. A quality polish will be safe for the clearcoat and remove them as well.

There also should be wax on the vehicle at all times. It's easy and quick to to wash with a ph balanced snow foam, waffle towel dry, light hand polish trouble spots, then wet wax, wipe on and wipe off instantly using safe applicators, and occasionally touch up with a spray wax during regular washes. Not looking to debate technique, timing, paste ,wet, spray, lasting effects, etc. or brands here, just saying a minimalist approach works fine for busy people and will deter 99% of all spots, bird doo doo, bug guts, offer UV protection, and awful swirling I noticed when I popped in at Carlisle Nationals, which can be corrected at home btw. People spend months considering their paint color choice but then I see is spider webs when I look at it from closer than 5' away. I spend 2 hours every 2 months and the vehicle is reflective and nothing ever gets through the wax. All I do between is waxes is snow foams and I rarely touch it with my hands. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

So you use this in place of, or in addition to wax? I see on the site it says, "Never wax again!" So is it a one-time application? I'm so confused (and a little stupid).
Yeah, it's all I use, I never wax. You can apply it as much/often as you like. I've used it for years on all my cars, trucks, toys, equipment, etc... Pricey, but well worth it IMO, for the ease & results.
