good deal! this will be my adventure, if it was in California etc, I would probably not do it, I drove from Alaska to ohio and it was brutal, but 8 hours, I can knock that out in one sitting. not terrible

592 miles / 30 mpg highway = 19 gallons @ 2.80 a gallon pricing. = 55 in gas. fun little drive. lets say 10 bucks Taco Bell lol. 65

Agree with others about Granger and I bought from them in 2022 with no issues and yes they had an airport shuttle. The best my dealer here would do on a 25 was $1300 (OTD) more than Granger. Looking at a plane ticket, 2.5 days on the road, 2 nights in a hotel, food and gas plus winter time I decided to pay my dealers price, At the end of the day I consider it a wash plus my odometer will say 30 not 1300 miles when it gets to my garage.

Having said all above I will give Granger a big thumbs up for doing what they say and no added fluff or mumbo jumbo double talk. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. 🤞
I just received an invoice from Granger for a non-refunbable $500. Is that the norm? I'm a bit hesitant at this point as there is no comittment with respect to delivery. I realize they don't directly control the factory schedule but I would like to see something about refundable if not ready by X.
I think the most i would be willing to wait is 6 months otherwise I would want my deposit back and move on. Leaving it open ended like that offers no protection from factory issues that could push delivery out indefinitely.

correct. they are ordering the vehicle for you, at the good price. it used to be $100, but tons of people would dip out, so they have inventory coming in they need sold. the 500 is cut down on tire kickers.

I do recall when I signed, it says you can get a refund up to 48 hours after payment. but if you truly want this ride, and no one around ya is giving a good deal, and you're gonna get it. go w granger.

thats the only downfall I guess, to someone not committed, its the best price you'll get, 500 is to get the ball rolling. same wait as anyone else.

its a 3-4 month wait, not 6. you'll have vehicle by 6, the only people who waited that long is people who ordered day 1, and they weren't being made yet until like a month ago. but im seeing a lot of post of 2-3 month shipments.

best bet is to get that DORA/invoice price, take or email local dealers asking for a deal, if they turn ya down and you really want it, got a choice, pay granger, 500 deposit, or pay higher price and order local.

let us know what ya do! and your invoice price.

Thats good to hear! Puts me back in the confort zone. I had a bit of concern after checking out the BBB ratings. I would hate to get up there and find the deal I thought I had did not exist.
Call and ask for Sales. They will 'splain everything for you.

Yes, It was 100.00 when I ordered mine Jan 2024, but too many people were ordering and NOT picking up. This made it difficult for Granger to be a Volume seller. They dont want a vehicle on the lot for over 30 days. That is the reason for the 30 Day limit for you to pick up the vehicle as well........ Or they have to start paying FORD for the vehicle. If you really want the truck; 500.00 is not bad. It gets taken off the price of the truck when you go get it. If you are unsure if you want to drive or fly to go get it and all that; then I would look locally.

I actually had Ordered a truck locally to me (Nov 2023) but they had Lied to me and said they had allocations; but didnt. I called and spoke to Chip at Grainger and ordered in January 2024. His estimate on Delivery was almost Dead on. He guessed June; well It was May! My Truck Locally was not delivered until OCT 2024...... Again my dealer locally lied to me!

For me it was a nice lil road trip with my Son going there (rented a one way Enterprise Car) Stayed in Des Moines over night, went and picked up my truck, Dropped off the Enterprise car went back to the hotel, installed my bug shield ( AutoVentshade Bugflector II Bug Deflector); and did a lil sight seeing (There is a Pretty Cool Reservoir there), stayed another night and drove home. I think my drive was 420 each way. Gave me and my sone Dad and Lad time on the road and beers while in Des Moines.

Oh, Dont forget the 500.00 FoMoCo credit if you are Active Duty or Retired Military. I think if you didn't retire, you cant use it unless you just were Honorably Discharged within like 2 years. But YMMV. That can be stacked with Farm Bureau (I think) And 3% off is pretty decent.......... Mine was 1000.00 off MSRP, which I used to buy the Warranty. The 500.00 paid for the Rental car and Fuel. Hotel was free due to all the points I have with Hilton........

I will probably go through with it. $500 seems a bit high given it is non refundable. I have no intentions of backing out. Just don't like the fact that there are no buyer protections. Worried if something comes up....for example, say a chip shortage that prevents the factory from completing builds for an unknown amount of months. I would have no option but to wait an indefinite amount of time or lose $500. I also would like an itemized list so I know what taxes I will pay based on my NC home. For instance . I had a X plan. Quote from a NY dealer....it included like $2,987 in tax. The NC tax rate is 3% which would put tax at around $1000. Not really sure what to expect purchasing out of state but I know all I'm responsible for is NC tax and fees.

imo, not reasonable concerns. no longer are we constrained on things anymore, if anything recession is coming, items aren't on backorder much compared to past.

my tax rate is 7.5% it sucks. I spoke to ford directly few days ago about my order, she said theres zero back item / constrained items directly. she said its all good. just wait for your vehicle vin and go on the way!

people use to wait a year, now its like 3-4 months order to receive. the reason why some people are 5 months is they ordered day 1 order banks, vehicle wasn't made til like 3-4 months later lol. because they weren't being made yet

Tell that to the people who ordered '24 model year trucks that now have Stop Sales for a camera recall, that has no known resolution date.
order a lariat. lol.
all the dealers told me "cant sell ya a xl or xlt but we can get you a lariat! GOOD PRICE!
sorry, dont want a 24. nice try tho. it could be half off, have no interest in it.

does suck for you guys. I feel it.
25 models dont have those issues. so for him, not a reasonable concern.

Thats fine thats your opinion but I disagree. I'm not as trusting as you are dealing with someone I have never even heard of up (until the other day), given they are about 16 hours away, and are not members of the BBB. I typically complete business transactions with good business acumen in writing, and not on emotion or wishful thinking. I look to protect my interest and hard earned assets.
Despite what the factory rep told you I was just told last week by another large volume dealer that if I order now don't expect a May delivery. It may be on the order of 7 to 8 months from order placement.

First off, I think BBB is out dated not relevant now a days, my grnadma/mom/older fellows use it and such, but my peers, seems like we dont even know what it is anymore. I use google reviews/ forums/word of mouth over BBB. My opinion purely. its lost a lot of presence. - I just did some reading a lot of companies straight up dropping out of BBB as a whole.

I have been on mustang6g forum for like 6 years now, and since I do nothing at work but play on my pc/phone for 8 hours a day. I see literally every post that comes across the forums. I a forum hoe. if I saw bad things, trust me, I wouldn't have gave them business.

They have a good reputation among the mustang community, and when I joined here and saw the same presence and their customer service to me was good, sold me. cant go wrong.

I wouldn't try to steer you the wrong way, but they have a good reputation, if they screwed people over, they wouldn't on the forums, they'd be blasted over all the forums.

eh, I am going off 2 forums of ford using granger was their #1 buyer. been on mustang forum for 6 years, so its not like its a new name to me.

but my dealerships all told me 3-4 month wait locally if I order today as well, goes with what im seeing online. but I will say either, more people are ordering lariat's than ever, or lariats' are being pumped out quicker, because most the pics "RECEIVED" trucks, are like 90% lariats.

been on there a good while.

granger on there as well, good member.

Thats fine you have established an adequate comfort level based on the past 6 years of forums, and other social media such as MT Club. I'm just not there yet. This is all new to me. I just came across the MT club a few weeks ago. That's where I first came across names such as Long McArthur, Chapman, and most recently Granger. Incidentally I'm looking at an XLT , which is apparently not as popular as the Lariat. This is a third vehicle for me and I don't plan on using it on a regular basis. My only requirements were for something with good mileage, a small bed, and good safety features. As such I ordered an XLT hybrid with the 360 pkg. Unfortunately there is no other real competition at this point.

Very valid, thats why I chose a maverick, it's like a car with a truck bed, with car hybrid MPG. I dont even need a truck, but the idea of a truck'sh ability really appeals to me, and it's time for a new vehicle. so you and me are in the same boat. except you have 3 vehicles and I have one. still useful as a vehicle over just a car or truck

you are correct, nothing comes near. take your granger and get competitive counter quotes from local dealers, granger has actually posted to do that "take our quotes and get price matches and benefit your local community, but if you cant, and want to give us a deal, come give them a holler" ive seen them post this. I just paraphrased it of course.
