GPS ON NAVIGATION SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING

I just had another Ford reset at the dealer. They told me that if I went to settings, Navigation, that I could switch to 3D vs 2D and it would "unlock it". I didn't know it had these settings. I like the 3D look. It is working for now!
They told me that they removed the negative battery cable for the reboot. If it happens again, I will do that myself and save a 60 mile trip and about 3 hours to my closest dealer. I choose to wait for the repair.

I had mine “reset” at the dealers. They had tried that earlier and it didn’t take, but I suppose they hadn’t tried the negative battery terminal reset? Anyway it’s working for now.

On both my 2022's Lariat and xlt with lux pack the was one or two of the updates required that the jump pins had to have 13 volts to insure that the modules would properly boot up properly. (I assume it had to insure that some things were not turned off for battery save).
