Got my Tremor VIN!

Oh man, I’ve been stalking and lurking in these forums for well over a year, immediately ordered in September when the 2023 banks opened up, and I’m SO excited and relieved that I finally got my VIN this week! It will tentatively be built in July and delivered in August. XLT Tremor Lux in Cactus Gray + a moonroof and back window. I’d like to thank the community for all the news, updates, and advice so far - as well as all the truck porn and hopeful support while waiting for this day! Now that it’s a bit more real, I figured this was a good time to sign up and introduce myself - I’m John from Colorado, happy and safe driving to all of you!

While I got the Avalanche Gray, would have preferred the Cactus. You're gunna like it!

I don’t think you can go wrong with either - might be the first time I saw the Avalanche Tremor with the black appearance package, looks sharp! I initially ordered in Cactus, then asked the dealer to switch to Avalanche… a few weeks later, I called Ford to confirm the change and learned the dealer never did, so I asked again and never confirmed and figured I’d let it be a surprise because I like and can live with either, it’s a tossup that I’m still having a hard time deciding on. Cactus gray it is according to the FordPass App, and I’m happy about it… but slightly ticked the dealer failed twice on that request. Just helps proves they’re a useless commission taking middleman.

I had been looking for a year and a half with a couple of near misses, but found this about 100 miles away in Nashville, the guy that ordered it disappeared, my choice would have been the XLT but there were literally 2 people behind me waiting to buy it while I was there....it was now or never, at least the dealer kept it at MSRP.
