Never understood the bow effect on such a big purchase. "Hi honey!" "Oh, by the way, I just spent $40,000 without your consent." Not to say it wasn't discussed and agreed upon and the only surprise was the timing.
I'm speaking tongue in cheek. What matters is the smiles on the folks standing next to their new Maverick.
