Coming back from lunch today, I was at a stoplight in the left lane and a guy pulled up next to me in a mid-2000's Chevy Silverado. He rolled his window down and was literally hanging out of his truck eyeballing my Maverick. The light turned green and he gave me a thumbs-up. He caught me at the next light and motioned to roll the window down. Asked me if I'd bought the hybrid version and told him I had the EB version. He asked about gas mileage and looked shocked when I gave him the numbers then commented, "That's fantastic!" He continued to look at my truck and before the light turned green again said, "That's a gorgeous little truck!"

Hope I had a convert today. "Bow ties" are a tough look to pull off. LOL!

I'll be a convert when mine comes in. I drive a 2007 Chevy Colorado. It's a perfect size for me, and the Maverick is only 4 inches longer. Plus, it is so much more...

I had a 2018 Colorado. Absolutely loved it. However, destroyed by fire so had to opt for something else. Maverick came along just in time and I don't miss the Chevy at all.

I sold my 2007 Colorado LT (short cab/long bed) to upgrade to the Maverick. The Colorado served me well over 15 years of ownership. 99.9% reliable, only had 67k miles on when I sold it. Paid $14k when brand new, sold it for $9k.

My 2007 has about 160K, and I put 90 more on it every day commuting. Runs great, but I only get around 21 MPG.
