Good Mileage?

For all of you maverick owners that have been on here a while, is this mileage decent or about average?
This is Montgomery, Al to Nashville, TN and about a third of the way back home.
I have had the truck 1 week.

Ecoboost. Really depends how much idling you did when you got to or were leaving anywhere since the engine is always on. Mostly freeway though should've helped. What's the hand calculation come out to when you fill up? Your gauge might be off in the wrong direction (though most are usually an mpg or two below the dash reading).

There are so many variables regarding fuel economy. Tire pressure. Idling. Driving style. Stop/go traffic v. freeway.

I had a '22 EB FWD and 27 mpg is decent. With a light foot and no A/C, I could get 30-31 on the freeway at 65 mph.

I left the stop/start on. When the light turned green, I learned to more slowly move my foot from the brake to the gas to allow the start.

Tangential to your post, I live in the land of $5++/gallon fuel and my '24 hybrid gets 41-45 mpg and goes about 650 miles on a tank.

Looks like typical mileage I would expect in my ecoboost awd 4k tow Maverick, going 75-80 mph on the highway. If you go 70 and slower you'll do better, but I never let fuel economy dictate how I travel.

The mpg falls off a cliff at 85 or when towing anything faster than 60-65.

I’ve kept a grand total going for my 2024 XL AWD. I’m no racer but not a slowski either. About 80% highway at around 70 mph. Usually it’s in ECO mode. I’m pretty happy with that! I don’t do the real math…but I doubt it’s far off…

Here's what used to be a 9th grade algebra problem.
Richard's Maverick went 328.9 miles of routine driving and averaged 24.7 mpg. He then went on a 136.5 mile highway trip. At the end of the trip the average mpg had risen to 26.9 mpg. What was his highway mpg?

I calculated 34.3 - all numbers from the guess-o-meter but I think it's pretty accurate in my ride. First tank was 24.49 measured, 24.5 indicated.
