Attending the Texas A&M University and Appalachian State University football game here in College Station, TX. I’m still waiting on any word on my Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury truck, I passed by the Ford tailgate. You can register to win a free Maverick. I asked one of the representatives when would the winner take delivery of the truck? He just rolled his eyes and said, “no idea”. He said the Aggies have a better chance of winning the national title, than the winner taking delivery in 2023. The odds keep getting worse.

Texas A&M is in the SEC so if history stays true they could lose 3 games and still be in consideration for the Top 4 while a 1 loss any other conference champ is held out. Hahaha. SEC bias is real.

I just entered. The contest ends in December, so delivery will most likely be in late spring or summer of 2023 (and might even be rolled over to a 2024).

I can see it now, the winner will go to the Ford dealer to pick up his Maverick XL prize, after waiting perhaps 7-10 months. The dealership will congratulate him/her/they/them etc. and tell the winner to head over to the finance office...

In the finance office:

"Once again, congratulations on winning the 2023 Ford Maverick XL. The truck is of course FREE, but you will of course owe for tax and license and a $899 document fee. Oh, by the way, there is also a Market Adjustment Fee of $10,000 that will need to be added... and did anyone go over the charges for the extended warranty and Covid cleaning fees?".

I would be interested in if it were the "Exact" same sign. Maybe there are two free giveaways. I read the fine print on the bottom of the OP's sign. It's sponsored by Newscope Marketing. I did a google search of them. They have only one location, just to the south west of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They seem to be some small time, local marketing firm and on their webpage, it seems all they deal with is Ford products. Not sure if they are affiliated to any dealership in that area. This would explain why they had a booth at the Texas A&M game. On their webpage it shows that they go to fairs and other events, but I assume those would all be local. Not sure if they would go up to Illinois, but maybe.

They've been doing this promotion since February and ends in December, but I've never heard of it, So it's probably only been advertised by this local company in their local area. But it does say that it is open to all 48 lower states, except FL and NY.

Yes, it seems the whole thing is bad, I didn't know about it and didn't understand why they were holding my car... by the way I'm thinking of turning to some law services for help, but until I just found these guys https://edubirdie.com/write-my-paper; I'm thinking of asking them to write my paper about how ford is tricking people and post it all over social media, hope it has some effect.
